DJB Becomes a Limited Company
DJB is very pleased to announce that it is now a limited company.
The firm was founded as a partnership on 12 April 1999 following the closure of the Government Property Lawyers. At midnight on Friday 1 February 2008, DJB officially became a limited company following several months of thorough preparation.
Our new status will pave the way for wider ownership amongst the firm's staff, enabling share participation schemes and other such mechanisms to reward employees. Aditionally, being incorporated reflects the firm's unusual, flat corporate structure. This is unlike the majority of law firms, many of which are modelled on a collection of separate client partners having different business objectives.
